Each evacuated sterile vacutainer contains an anticoagulant of K2 Potassium salt of EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic acid) which is a liquid solution that has been spray coated onto the interior surface of the tube. Easily identified by their lavender Hemogard safety closure cap.
