Calcium Alginate Dressings are a comfortable, advanced fibre-structured alginate with a highly absorbent capacity. The dressing will absorb, collect and contain moderate to heavy amounts of exudate, whilst providing a moist healing environment. A reaction between the calcium in the dressing and the sodium in the wound exudate create a gel like substance that promotes moist wound healing.
