Purfect Lightweight Circle Circuit
The Purfect lightweight circle circuit is a rebreathing system that reduces fresh gas flow rates compared with non-rebreathing systems.

- Conventional screw valve
- Absorber canister
- 2 litre reservoir bag
- Twin patient tubing with 360°swivel y-piece
- Scavenge adaptor 30mm female to 22mm male
- Soda Lime capacity approximately 470g (not included)
- Reduces usage of expensive anaesthetic agents such as isoflurane
- Large diameter valve decreases resistance to gas flow
- The valve in the scavenging port relieves at 2cm H2O
- Warms and humidifies inspired gases
- Reduces atmospheric pollution
- Ideal for patients 10kg plus
- Semi-disposable. The lifespan of the canister is approx. 6 - 12 months
- After every use, disconnect the circuit from INHALE/EXHALE ports. Wipe clean all ports and ensure they are dry
- Leave the unit in a dry and well-ventilated environment with an open scavenge valve when not in use
- NOTE: TEST BEFORE EVERY USE
IPPV Valve
An Intermittent Positive Pressure Ventilation (IPPV) valve with button function, essential for providing regulated ventilation.
Features
- Functionality: The valve is designed to be pressed to close (occlude) the scavenging port, allowing pressure to build in the breathing system to deliver a breath when the reservoir bag is squeezed
- Safety Mechanism: Upon releasing the button, the valve automatically re-opens. This design prevents the dangerous, accidental, or forgotten closure of the scavenge valve, which could cause fatal over-pressurization in the patient's lungs
- Compatibility: For use with breathing systems that use a 30mm scavenge valve
- Ease of Use: Enables efficient and rapid ventilation, making it an essential, low-maintenance, and reliable tool for anaesthetists
